Let’s go back to our childhood years, to our mother’s or grandmother’s kitchen and prepare a creamy portion of rice with milk! Ingredients

  • 500ml water

  • 500ml milk

  • 250g Rice

  • 170g Sugar

  • 2tbs butter

  • 1ts Cinnamon

  • 1/2 ts nutmeg

Directions

  • Bring water to a boil in a non-stick pan. When the water is boiling, add the rice, stir and cover the bowl. Turn the heat from medium to low and leave until the rice absorbs the water.

  • Add the milk, stir a little and leave on the fire until it is absorbed by the rice. Stir in the rice from time to time, to make sure it doesn't stick, but also to check if it's cooked.

  • Before serving, add over the rice pudding and the rest of the ingredients: sugar, butter, cinnamon and nutmeg.
